Instruction for KMS-Proxy Service

To provide KMS service for off-campus students, the Information Center has established the service of kms-proxy. Please go to https://kms-proxy.cmu.edu.tw Enter your CMU portal account and password to enable KMS service.

The detailed steps are as follows：
1. Go to https://kms-proxy.cmu.edu.tw
2. Enter your CMU portal account, password, and the verification code. Click “Login”.

3. Download the authentication executable file: Windows  / Office , or see Installation instructions and activate it within 10 minutes.


4. Right-click on the authentication executable file, select "Run as System Administrator". The system will display a message of user account control, click "Yes" to continue.


Notice:

  1. This method is only for the use of KMS authentication for CMU students with “off-campus network”. In-campus network is not applicable.
  2. Activation must be performed at least once every 180 days.
  3. If fail to activate, please call the Information Center and inform the error code, or check the error code online.
